This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. The only personal data we receive is what you send us through the contact form.

What we receive

When you write to us through the form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number (if you give it) and your message by email, together with the page you wrote from and the IP address it was sent from.

What we use it for

Only to reply to you and follow up on the conversation you started. We do not send newsletters or advertising, and we do not sell your data or pass it on to others for their own use.

Who handles it

Be First. Your message reaches us by email, through Microsoft 365. To prevent automated submissions, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser and receives your IP address. These services may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

Server logs

Like any website, our server logs the requests it receives: IP address, page, date and time, browser and referring page. We use these logs to keep the site secure and to count visits.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as the conversation and its follow-up require, and server logs only for as long as the purposes above require.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use: simply reply to one of our emails or write to us through the contact form. If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the CNPD, the Portuguese data protection authority (cnpd.pt).
